The firm operates with a highly integrated investment and technology model, where engineering partners directly with trading, risk, and operations teams to support the full trade lifecycle.
The Post Trade Technology team is responsible for building and maintaining the systems that power trade allocation, reconciliation, settlement, and operational reporting across asset classes.
These platforms are central to ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational integrity across global markets.
Role Overview
This Senior Engineer will design and enhance backend systems supporting post-trade processing and middle-office workflows.
The role requires strong experience in distributed systems, multithreaded backend services, and financial transaction processing.
This is a hands-on engineering role within a highly visible team that operates in close partnership with operations and trading stakeholders.
The team works primarily onsite in New York (4 days per week), reflecting the collaborative and production-facing nature of the environment.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable post-trade processing systems

Enhance workflows supporting reconciliation, settlements, and lifecycle events

Develop backend services in C# / .NET Core

Design and implement event-driven systems (Kafka or similar)

Optimize SQL-based data stores and transaction workflows

Ensure systems are robust, auditable, and production-ready

Balance second-line support with strategic platform development

Collaborate closely with global engineering teams
Required Qualifications

7+ years enterprise backend software engineering experience

Strong expertise in C# / .NET Core

Experience building distributed, service-oriented systems

Event-driven architecture experience (Kafka preferred)

Deep SQL and relational database knowledge

Capital markets or financial systems exposure

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
